Before I begin, let me say that I would still vote for Trump over Hillary. Even knowing what I know now....

That said, when are we going to stop acting like he is doing a good job? How can you support what he is doing?

If our main goal is to improve the country, we have to stop pretending like this is headed in the right direction.

It's been 3 months and he has to clean up 8 years of incompetence from the previous shithead.

People care more about being right than they do about making improvements. We are all guilty to some extent.

I think he is doing a pretty damn good job with his own team playing against him.

Do you honestly think such a vague post void of all substance is going to spawn an "honest conversation"?

That's fair. I don't expect anything to change overnight. But I do expect less rounds of golf. I do expect true healthcare reform proposals. I do expect my fricking wall.

You're in the wrong place for this thread. I will say this: Trump absolutely has authority to do this.

His reasoning is laughable and Sessions leading the charge is hilarious, too.

But he can do it if he wants to.

Do you have any comprehension of how badly corrupt the executive agencies have become under Obama. It is a disaster that will take years to restore. The DOJ and its alphabet agencies and the State department are a complete mess.

I guess because we don't disagree with it.

and he has cleaned up a LOT of it, pretty much everything he can himself

judge appointments, 70% fewer border crossings, regulations, EPA, in the process of fixing the entire foreign policy fiasco of obama, bush, AND clinton

People who say he hasn't been doing anything are either left wing hacks or others to lazy to keep up.

If our main goal is to improve the country, we have to stop pretending like this is headed in the right direction.

His agenda is as close to what we need as I could have ever expected - I fully support just about everything he has done. Only have disagreements with scope/timing/vigor.

But his personal actions and self-serving rhetoric makes me sick to my stomach.

Outside of judicial appointments and some cabinet appointments, he's been pretty meh. So about what I expected (except Gorsuch was a solid solid appointment). But I'm not a Trump supporter.

He's appointed a great cabinet, great judges, and has had to deal with undercover Obama appointees trying to sabotage him.

He's doing great.
