Couldn't have happened to a more vile group of individuals. Their hatred of America was on full display last night.

Trump changed the party dynamic...that has never been more obvious than last night.

Calling last night the death of the democratic party might be exaggerating, but it was still a YUUUGE blow to the democrats.

All 45 has to do is act like a grown up for less than two hours and that destroys the Democratic party?

I'm honestly not sure where the Democratic Party goes from here.

Didn't the Republicans just elect a man who openly collaborated with America's enemy to violate U.S. election law? A man who has publicly stated his dislike of US prisoners of war?

Not quite. He just gives them enough rope then gets out of the way. They take care of the rest.

Where are you coming up w/ this stuff?

Nobody will remember this at all. Not just in 2018, but next Wednesday. The only item up for a vote next year will be progress on Trump's agenda. You are engaging in wish fulfillment if you think that when Trump can't repeal Obamacare, can't pass tax reform, and can't achieve 4% promised growth that vulnerable Republicans showing clips from last nite is going to save them.
Your assumption is that Trump isn't getting the job done and thus an image of petty Democrats won't mean much. My assumption is that Trump will continue to be successful if not wholly, at least in part, and enough to keep the faith of the American people. With that assumption, the Democrats being obstructionists and not supportive of policies that the people want will haunt them. You're right that people will forget. That's why the image will be shown over and over again by Republicans fighting those Democrats to remind the people about it.

They have to figure out how to redefine the party. I'm not sure what issues they can push now. Everything they've done in the past few months has just been anti-Trump to the point that it alienates the same supporters they lost in 2016.

They need fresh ideas and there's none out there.

It really shows you how far off the rails Trump's presidency had gone that a simple speech like this one can inspire such euphoria in his supporters.

Wow. You are completely detached from reality.

Incredible.

I was going to call out WheelRoute for his terrible posts, but then Spidey showed up to make him look reasonable.
