Fare the well, Friends - Parting thoughts

Well, I think this will be my last post on this site.

Here are my concluding thoughts after more than a decade posting here:

- this is a great corner of the Internet with some smart folks;
- the United States that we have known is over...I really mean that. I don’t think people have really appreciated that yet. I think even the GOP congressional members, staff and the lobbyist and industry around them don’t actually appreciate this fact. They want to put Trump behind them and return to the normal cocktail party business ventures, enriching themselves and their friends.

That is over. They erroneously believe that this is about Trump for liberals. It’s about absolute power. The Left has attained it and there is no looking back. They control the message, they control communications and they control all branches of federal government.

- I think American Christians, of which I am one, still believe God will somehow intervene and protect us from persecution experienced by millions of Christians over the last couple hundred years in France, Russia, China, Africa, and other places. Why?

Leftist regimes ALWAYS target Christians and many times it results in genocide.

God will no doubt prevail in the end, but there may be a dark valley ahead.

- There is talk of what will trigger a real response from the 75 million disenfranchised Conservative voters.

The common thought is when they come for our guns. Well, without an organized, lead force fighting, nothing will happen...please look at the French and Russian revolutions as evidence.

- Finally, you can’t see things clearly without studying and appreciating the reality around you.

Conservatives must accept the reality and their vulnerabilities.

100 years from now, historians will look at the period between March 2020 and December 2021 as the fire that destroyed the greatest empire the world had known to that point.

I’m not saying we should quit, give up or cease planning. I’m saying we must accept reality and enjoy each day for the day it is. Love your family and friends. Treat people right. Pray and read your Bibles. Be cleared eyed and plan, as you can, be deliberate about everything.

However, the sooner you accept reality as a Conservative and understand those in power hate you, the more likely you can think about and plan for your immediate future and enjoy the present without focusing on those things you ultimately cannot control.
