Equality is going to kill "equality" in sports

Just saw a March Madness commercial that said "Genders don't play sports. Athletes do."
The USA women's ice hockey team is boycotting the World Championships because they feel they should be paid the same as men. USA Women's Soccer is screaming the same thing and will likely boycott the next World Cup.
Then you have high school boys winning girls' wrestling and track titles.
All of this PC equality crap is going to ironically kill women's sports.

If only.
Because of Title IX, if they die, men's sports must suffer as well.

Maybe it's just me, but haven't boys typically won wrestling and track matches/titles?

I too am boycotting women's hockey and soccer. Been doing it for years. Never watched a second of it

Well technically you had high school girls on testosterone treatments winning girls' high school wrestling titles but I get your point.

Women's soccer is pretty good in the U.S

Free market. People find Women's sports less entertaining so they generate less revenue than the men's teams. Are the teams owned by the same owners as the men's teams in those cities?

Ironic thing about that situation is that the student wanted to compete against the boys, but the state forced him/her to compete against the girls. If the state had just let him/her compete in the boys division, probably would have lost early on and this would not be a story. The state brought this on itself.

Uh no. Girl wanting to be boy by artificially altering her biological composition created this story. Don't buy that bullshite.

Just lol at them not playing a sport they worked their whole life to play by boycotting the World Cup. I mean who is really suffering here

Yes but women's soccer isn't as popular as men's soccer, therefore women's soccer draws in less sponsorship and less money.
If you want the women's soccer team to make more money, start watching them more.

I think Title IX is turning a lot of young people into republicans.

Not at all. This story is about professional women's sports cutting their own throats. Title IX has zero to do with professional sports. If women's soccer and hockey want to boycott their way into oblivion, Title IX can't help protect them.

This is the problem. They may dominate their competition but sports is entertainment. It gets its intrinsic value based on how entertaining it is. Men are more physically capable of delivering eye popping plays: the slam dunk, the bicycle kick, the towering home run, the sub 10 second 100M.
Women can't do these things. They physically cannot deliver the amount of speed and mass needed to accomplish them consistently.
Period. It's science. And people want the big show. Not just beating the Iraqi soccer girls in their hijabs by 10 goals.

Let the free market rule. Women make a TON of money in pro tennis. Why? Because people watch it on TV and buy tickets to the big tournaments. The market has ruled that people don't want to watch other female sports. So they can play for peanuts or for free while they hold down another job. If they're pretty and have big tits they can marry a doctor and play for fun.

Should just get rid of the man/woman divisions. Give them equality. If they can beat the boys they can play.
Sparta let the boys and girls play together. Sparta had some of the most beautiful girls of the world. Started a major war over one.

Tucker Carlson had Zac Petkanas on - he worked for Hillary Clinton's campaign, and he said that President Trump was a "Monster" for rescinding President Obama's EO on which bathrooms transgenders can use.
In the video, Petkanas stated that "your gender is whatever gender you identify with. Period."
To which, Carlson asked him if he could compete in women's sports, if he was willing to identify as a woman. Petkanas couldn't answer the question directly.

It is amazing how many people do not understand this.

That guy was an idiot. Well to fair, TC makes most of the guests who disagree with him look like idiots.
