Probably not thread worthy but frick it!

MSNBC doing the pre-market news and they are blowing off 2nd qtr GDP of 3.1 as no big deal, saying Obama had several qtrs of 3% growth, let's see how Trump's economy does with all this Hurricane clean up. These fricks are undoubtedly enemies of the state.

What they don't understand is all the rebuilding activity will probably show up in the GDP numbers in the 2017 4th qtr and more significantly in 2018 Q1-Q2.

Krugman has taught us that hurricanes are steroids for the economy.

Has anyone else ever noticed that a lot of the time MSNBC has a panel format for their shows? It's like they need enough bobble head dolls to affirm each panel participants anti Trump rant.

Significant natural disasters typically have a negative impact on the economy in the short-term. The storms from this hurricane season likely will as well, though probably not to some huge degree. This is is pretty mundane reporting. Not really “enemy of the state material.”

At least they are giving Trump and Co the excuse they can play if 3rd quarter goes down. I'm surprised MSNBC is being so helpful in that aspect. I thought they'd try to set the table to blame trump if 3rd Q went down.

Globalists know this is a powerful tool of brainwashing. It presents the perception of consensus to the point where the unwitting assume a consensus must be correct.

I think his point is MSM is always looking for a way to NOT give Trump credit

That's really the point of the OP, these Prog Enemedia talking heads are idiots with or without a script!

It's the nuanced leftist slant that the Enemedia has to continuously introduce into any reporting they spew. Come on, most of the time you appear smart enough to understand this but then again you may agree with it.

So they’re denying Trump “credit” for a possible Q3/Q4 slowdown? Hmmm.

No they were looking for an out to not give him credit for the last quarter and predict a period of doom and gloom for him. It's their MO

I didn’t watch the broadcast, so I don’t what they were doing vs. what you perceived. I do know (1) Natural disasters tend to be an economic drag—at least in the short-term, and (2) this would provide the admin a cushion for any downturn in the latter part of the year.

No, sadly it's an apt description of what we're dealing with.

Your point is made by the the networks themselves.

91% of their reports on Trump have been negative.

Remember when wiretapping reporters and using the IRS to go after political opponents were positives?
