His awakening has been fun to watch. Hopefully, more people have come to the same conclusion. I know some are too far gone but there has to be more recovering libs with the ability to think critically than just Elon out there.

He’s a centrist. He wants to pendulum to swing back to bring us closer to center.

Maybe now but Elon was liberal as hell not long ago. The party just moved too far left too fast and Elon is a realist who loves America. He understands the Dems are destroying it.

I cannot imagine the crap the MiC has tried against SpaceX. He's fortunate NASA needs him.

This is not the Democratic Party of 2008.

They sold out to the radical progs in Obama’s presidency.

They left the working class American behind in order to pursue new illegal immigrant voters and a coalition of minorities.

They abandoned American values and the constitution.

Musk is from South Africa (a hellhole) and sees this. He sees the censorship and tyranny the democrats want. He cannot stand for it.

Obama is a big reason why the United States is failing. He shoved it over the edge. Thank you white democrats!

We need a counter elite so badly and he is definitely the leading candidate.

I think liberalism from even 10/15 years ago is pretty dead now. I really wonder how many blue collar types that have always been “democrat” but haven’t paid attention outside of showing up to pull a lever still do so. Honestly those are the people that I’d target.

I think trump has gotten a good share but I still think there are some six pack types who are clueless as to the current state of the democrat party.

Imagine sitting out because your candidate couldn’t get passed 5% in the primary

A lot because they simply don't follow politics all that closely.

I tend to agree. I’ve met a lot of older folks from the NE living in Florida. These are working class folks who clearly don’t share a lot of the insane woke ideology and identity politics that run the party now. Just think they’re (actually) boomers who are stuck in their ways. They’re normal folks and definitely aren’t skyscreamers. They go pull a lever every few years without 5 real minutes of thought. Just what they’ve always done.

Because it doesn't effect them in their bubble.

I'm hoping the flood of illegals into my little rural town will open some eyes, this area is surprisingly close to evenly spilt, but I'm not holding my breath.

By the time it does have a major impact on their lives, losing jobs, etc it will be too late.

Trump dominated Ron in his home state. Florida was MAGA and then Ron used it, you guys forget this.

This is true…but I also hate that I cast a vote for McCain and then Romney everyday. I’ll never vote for establishment Republicans again after what they’ve done to Trump.
