Dumb Dumb Dems ROTFLMAO

Congrads to DeVos and it's all thanks to the Dems. "What" you say? Well, talk about irony: Dems fail to approve Sessions as AG, leaving him a senator to vote in favor of DeVos. Looks like the Dems have created a circular firing squad.

Huh? How the hell did I miss this? And how would math allow such a thing to happen?

The Dems stalled his approval and by doing so it allowed him to still VOTE as a Senator. Hahaha!

You do realize that if Sessions had already been approved another senator from Alabama would have already been appointed right?

Thank you. But it's still (likely) coming.

Do you actually trust Luther Strange?
I don't.

Sessions was delayed by the R's so that he could vote on DeVos

Actually a special election would have had to have been held. And it may not have been in time to get the vote needed. It wasn't automatic.

No one's debating that. The Dems had a chance to have 12 men on the field while the other side only had ten. The Dems called time out for too long, their man had to leave the field while their opponent ran another man in to even it up.
Referee decided the game.

I hope that they are using Dum - Dum bullets at said squad.

Nope.
His seat would be filled by Bentley and then a Special Election would be held.

Les Miles was in charge of the Dems' clock management on this one.

Devos was their best chance at not approving one of Trumps picks, the rest shouldn't have near the problem she did and it sets up the SCOTUS nominee certainly getting confirmed. The Dems in congress are looking terrible and will probably give Trump a 4 yr term with a majority congress.

Not the point. The op is claiming the Dems made a mistake by not already having Sessions confirmed, because his confirmation would have left the repubs 1 vote short of confirming Devos. Im just pointing out that his replacement has been chosen but not yet released. They would still have the votes regardless of Sessions confirmation.
