Funny thing though. Those illegals are paying taxes so their point is pretty flemsy.
I don't agree that only trump supporters pay for the wall, but the response to that point was equally stupid.

Most dont from my experience. I used to consult for environmental clean up companies. They would hire hundreds of "work permit" people for big spills and 1099 them. If they sent out 250 1099's they would get 225 back.

The response was the truth. They are a tax burden.

How is it the truth? Illegal immigrants pay taxes...period. that's not debatable. It's estimated at at around 50% maybe more do. They pay in to things like social security as well which they do not get the benefits of.
The response that all these people should pay for these immigrants using public property is as asinine as making only "wall lovers" pay for the wall. It doesn't work like that. Illegals pay in to the system as well. We all pay in. Some of us (illegal or not) are tax burdens meaning we get more than we put in, but most everyone, including illegals are putting in.

Yea it was a summarized quote from the center that made that comment. It was a jumping off point discussing if the fact that undocumented workers actually paid the 12 bil the center claimed. Go read more than a sentence.

Good lord...do you not understand what i said? they pay taxes and that is a true statement. Your employer pays in too. That's how it works.
I mean what are you trying to say here? I simply said that her statement isn't true because they do in fact contribute in the form of taxes, which is true. I get downvoted because apparently the truth is not what some people want to hear. I simply said, at the beginning, both arguments of certain people paying for certain things was flemsy and innacurate...guess what...they are.

Debating tax burden vs economic costs could take a long time. Again, my only point was her reply was as dumb as the original post she responded to. Wow...didnt think people would get this upset about it.

Apparently not without their employers.
No shite? that's how this works.
Workers and employers pay for Social Security. Workers pay 6.2 percent of their earnings up to a cap, which is $118,500 a year in 2015. (The cap on taxable earnings usually rises each year with average wages.) Employers pay a matching amount for a combined contribution of 12.4 percent of earnings. Self-employed persons pay both the employee and employer share for a total 12.4 percent. (Half of this contribution, the employer share, is a deductible business expense for income tax purposes.) Also, higher-income Social Security beneficiaries pay federal income taxes on their benefit income, and these taxes help pay for Social Security.

Based on the think tank cited by your article it says the average undocumented family pays a whopping -$14,000 into the system. The only study to include benefits.
Lol. I am sorry you don't understand the difference between paying taxes from a paycheck to the govt. And your net tax contribution (burden). I said they pay taxes. They do. No more discussion needed. Both the original post and reply comment were dumb and short sighted by the posters whom the OP shared.

Should we allow immigration for people who do not produce more than they consume?
Interesting question which i dont have time to get in to. Not an easy answer as people who are initial tax burdens could become tax contributors over time. Also, you must look at the larger economic impact of the country by the "tax burdens" and if they were to disapper i.e. cost of goods sold increses and things of the like.

It's not even up for debate that illegals take out far more than they put in. They pay sales tax and sometimes property taxes (rarely) because they have to eat and have somewhere to live.
Meanwhile, they're sending billions of dollars back home and out of the U.S. economy while draining billions in taxes from healthcare and education alone.
The taxes they pay are but a band aid on severed limb.
