Does anyone think Putin tried to interfere in the 2012 election?

Especially with Obama sucking no up to Putin the entire campaign. Putin certainly had reason to keep his boy in office.

No idea. There wasn't a hack of the RNC with thousands of private emails released to make us question.
All of the Intelligence Directors say that Russia did interfere in the 2016 election. They didn't say that in 2012.

Again, there was no hack of RNC emails with the release of thousands of them to cause any kind of suspicion. That is the major event that you seem to be ignoring.

I don't find that to be a major event at all. In fact, the left didn't think it was a big deal either until after they lost. I remember people like you laughing at these emails saying they were a big nothing burger. So which is it?

Exposing corruption so people can make informed decisions is not interference. It used to be the media's job.
The only thing Russia interfered with was the liberals plan to to continue our country down the wrong path by lying to our faces and cheating during the process.
How come Donna Brazille isn't being accused of interfering with the elections? We've seen hard proof that she most certainly did.

And why isn't there much news and reporting on the U.S. (Obama) interfering in the Israeli election? Why isn't there much news and reporting on Department of Homeland Security attempting to hack, multiple times, Georgia's election computers? We all know why...

I'm sure putin tried to gather intelligence on what was going on during the election cycle but no, I don't think Putin had any intention of actually manipulating anything.
