Your contention seems to stem from the lack of perfection in predictive capabilities of IQ tests. Would IQ tests allow us to better guide children? I think the answer is undoubtedly yes.

It would be considered racists. The only time aptitude or IQ matter is to prevent a murderer or rapist from receiving justice for not knowing any better.

Other than the ASVAB, which I took in HS, the only other aptitude testing was through Junior Division(I think that's what it was called?) at LSU, but I would have never known the testing existed if it had not been for an Academic Advisor.

If they had shown any aptitude, they wouldn't be high school guidance councilors.
