That's the thing, it hasn't really been established. So while it theoretically should be a good guide, it hasn't been established how that works. Then you get into the issues of inter- and intra-individual comparisons and profiles. It's complicated.

It would be considered racists. The only time aptitude or IQ matter is to prevent a murderer or rapist from receiving justice for not knowing any better.

Other than the ASVAB, which I took in HS, the only other aptitude testing was through Junior Division(I think that's what it was called?) at LSU, but I would have never known the testing existed if it had not been for an Academic Advisor.

Or maybe it's important in almost every full psychological evaluation when cognition is a component of the presenting problems.

If they had shown any aptitude, they wouldn't be high school guidance councilors.
