Here is a link to the Wikipedia Entry on the DVD

Koch Brothers Exposed

Some of the alleged wrongdoing highlighted in the film includes:

Efforts to gut Social Security. Spending more than $28 million, the Kochs have funded hundreds of reports, commentaries and books which popularized the fiction that Social Security is on the brink of collapse.[7]

Attempts at re-segregation. The film reports on Koch-funded efforts to remake a North Carolina school district’s diversity policy, in effect re-segregating the schools.[7]

Voter Suppression. Koch money has supported voter ID laws in 38 states.[8] These laws are billed as a way to avoid voter fraud, but the film argues that they are actually intended to make it more difficult for Democrats to vote.[1]

Keystone XL. The Kochs use their influence to sway legislation regarding the Keystone XL pipeline. Koch Industries has a significant financial interest in this oil and gas project.[7]

Cancer in Crosset. A Koch paper plant pollutes the air and water of a community in Arkansas. The film explores a link with a cancer cluster in the small African-American community.[9]

Higher Education. The Kochs give millions of dollars to universities, with the stipulation that the schools must hire Koch-sympathetic professors.[7]

Robert Greenwald attempts to evoke a visceral reaction from his viewers by telling the stories of individuals whose lives have been harmed by Koch activities.[10] Regarding this film, he is quoted as saying, “You reach the heart first. What I always try to do is make the political personal." [1]

The Koch Brothers are guilty of disagreeing with the Democrats and having the money to fight them.

Oh so they agree with me on everything, must be evil then.

and no, I don't remember a Republican caucus leader EVER going after a private citizen on the floor of the Senate like reid did, but then reid is scum isn't he?

If you are a lib then you are equal to reid, schumer, pelosi, etc. That's why you are scum too.

Fine by me. It's a drain on our resources.

LOLOLOLOL. Sure... That's their goal.

Democrats who don't want voter ID are fricking stupid. Sorry, but you are. Just stop and think. What reason would ANYONE have for not showing an ID when voting? What's that? They can't afford one? Well... Tell me. How do you get on welfare without an ID?

Good. It's a good project.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. Wait... LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.

As opposed to the usual free society haters?

Yeah. Cause no one has been affected by any company decisions, ever.

And there's your answer. That's what it all comes down to my friends.

The Koch's, like the Unions or George Soro's use their money to influence those in charge of making decisions.

Nothing more, nothing less.

Facts:

They're offices are in my building.

I share many elevators with their employees.

I have a love/hate relationship with intern season... I could do without the clones of young men with the Bama bangs, blue blazers and khaki pants wearing backpacks crowding the elevators... But the Koch brothers bring in some pretty good female talent.

Once per year, I see a black person get off on their floor and wonder what they are doing.

I'm pretty sure you won't think that when you reach the age of 65, you idiotic hypocrite.

Everybody knows Voter ID laws are an excuse to keep black people from voting. Don't lie and claim that it isn't.

I won't need SS when I reach 65. I invest a similar amount to what I pay in SS taxes back each month and it will be worth much more than I will ever get in SS payments. If others would plan for the future as I do, they wouldnt need it either.

Back up your accusations. If they are "clearly" buying legislators I get what they want....list them. Specifics. Which legislators an which bills? And how much did it cost? I anxiously await your response.

Clearly to who?? Give me an example.

This is the company that even though they are in the ethanol business spoke out loudly against ethanol subsides and in favor of ending the ethanol mandates.

When you can point to health insurance company that speaks out against Obamacare's subsidies to the health insurance business you can talk about the Koch.

Democrats and health insurance companies are in bed together like no other industry and government. Look at the HUGE increases in profits the health insurance companies have since they started bribing democrats to pass Obamacare.

They own Koch industries so they are rich.

I'm not sure if you knew, but that makes them both dishonest and racist unless they donate significant sums of money to the Democratic Party as a penance.

Strange tht you office with the Koch brothers. Your profile says you are in virginia. The kochs office in Kansas. Also...the comment about a black employee....for dramatic effect? Maybe google Koch industries and see how many people they employ. Stop being an idiot.

If you're really interested, OP, read some Mark Ames and Yasha Levine on the Koch brothers. Not saying that they're coming from an entirely honest and unimpeachable place, but they've found loads of interesting info.

EDIT: LINK /

Here's one of many Levine/Ames articles about the brothers.

Dumbfricks are going to dumbfrick down the parade route of idiots. Compare your list to those of unions and other left leaning groups for a comparison for their beliefs and the quantity of money spent by them and you will find out the truth about who throws more money around. Social Security is going broke because Democrats (my bad that should fifty not forty)years ago started taking the money from it and spending it in the general fund budget, never have the "loans" been paid back in that time.

Indeed.

And, in the Totalitarian Stalinist worldview of today's Radical Left Democrat Party, THAT is a crime warranting the Death Penalty.

To the Left, political crimes are the only serious crimes.

Can you specifically describe this vague reference of yours, or are you just another LibIdiot thrashing about as you drown in the Pool of Critical Thinking? I'm thinking the latter.

You don't think the Greenspan / Reagan years had anything to do with Social Security going broke? I remember reading through the transcripts of Carter / Reagan debates...

Q: How much longer can the young wage earner expect to bear the ever-increasing burden of social security?

REAGAN: The social security system was based on a false premise, with regard to how fast the number of workers would increase and how fast the number of retirees would increase. It is actuarially out of balance, and this first became evident about 16 years ago, and some of us were voicing warnings then. Now, it is trillions of dollars out of balance, and the only answer that has come so far is the biggest single tax increase in our Nation's history, the payroll tax increase for social security, which will only put a band-aid on this and postpone the day of reckoning by a few years at most.

CARTER: As long as there's a Democratic President, we will have a strong and viable social security system. Although Gov. Reagan has changed his position lately, on four different occasions he has advocated making social security a voluntary system, which would, in effect, very quickly bankrupt it.

Another Reagan quote, while gunning for the Republican nomination... "One of the failures of Social Security as a pension program is that the funds do not grow. They are not invested as they could be in the industrial might of America. Certainly a portion of this money could be invested in the economy and grow as it does in other pension funds."

This is a great example of LibIdiot Logic and Persuasive Argument.

Very convincing, dude. You should be on the Sunday morning political TV shows, "wowing" us all with your astute insight.

This is why people can't take the far right seriously. These men have become some of the most influential and powerful people in the world; their influence in DC is astronomical; their companies receive corporate welfare subsidies straight from american taxpayers...

And you think the Commies are coming to hang them in public or something? Utter delusion.
