Did the FBI investigate whether Obama was a foreign citizen?

I’m just wondering what’s the standard for the FBI to open a counter intelligence case against a sitting president and what are the checks and balances.

I want to know who ordered the investigation? After Comey, wasn’t McCabe in charge? And Obama is probably more guilty of collusion with Russia than Trump, but Hillary actually paid to set up an American with Russian intel..

Is he not still Barry Soetoro, an Indonesian citizen ? When did he change his name back to his communist father's name, if indeed Frank Marshall Davis wasn't really his father ? The guy is the biggest FRAUD to ever be perpetrated upon the USA.

They were all working in unison and knew exactly what they wanted to do. Thats why I think that, after a few years, there is little actionable evidence left.

There wasn't a need to investigate. Even if he was born in Kenya his mother was a US citizen.

The standard is having reasonable evidence or suspicion, not political nonsense. For Trump there is plenty, for Obama none! Regardless of what you "want" to believe.

Why would they? Hawaii gave him a birth certificate, therefore he is a US citizen.
BTW, it doesn't matter whether he was actually born in Hawaii or not. What matters is that the state of Hawaii said he was. The Republican officials in charge of such matters at the time even said he was a citizen.

If a President doesn't do what "they" expect him (or her) to do, then an investigation can be expected.
The real question is who is "they". There are very few Presidents in recent history that do not have a "they" influencing policy. JFK had a "they" and they whacked him.
