Hey, there was some sort of reparations payment from the govt to black farmers about 5 years ago. All you had to do was apply. Turns out there are 1,000s of black farmers.

Why do we have black farmers? Why are they not just farmers? It's 2024 and no one can stop separating people by race, for goodness sake wake up.

It's absolutely true and lots of people here remember reading the news. You should read more.
It dealt with disparities in loans to farmers. Short story: White farmers were not rejected for loans as much as black farmers. The checks were for repairing the injustice.
Soooo, LOTS of blacks claimed they had a farm when they did not. Now, how many actually got checks and how many were rejected I don't know.

I’m all for not putting racial data on loan applications to ensure equality, but the left is not interested in equality at all.

IDK, but I've known a few small farmers and they all said the financial complexities of farming are incredible due to equipment purchases, federal tax credits and subsidies. One thing was clear...they said if you're a farmer you must have a professional accountant. You can't do it yourself.
So, if black farmers were wrongly treated the accountants should have handled it.
That's different than home loan discrepancies. You don't need an accountant to buy a home and banks were charging blacks higher rates because actuarial tables prove that blacks default on loans much more than whites of equal income standing. Therefore, risk is higher.
