Flynn took the 5th, and now the Dems are about to bring up contempt charges.

The gope would never do that.

Which is to say, "Flynn can totally take the Fifth but I don't want to admit it."

It's probably all pointless anyways since the criminal investigation is the key, and I sense he's going to how some real issues there.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if he sent in memo's and notes where he discussed with Russians how much the Podesta's were being paid compared to what they were offering him.

Bringing all the corruption down would be a net good.

But I don't think his issues are related to Russia. It's his Turkey work that seems rally bad, and I think that's why there was concern the Russians could exploit him.

Flynn is a person. People can take the fifth. Corporations are people (just ask Supreme Court). Corporations can take the fifth. Transitive property.

A corporation cannot be criminally charged, nor convicted or sentenced.

However, individuals can for the actions/activities of the corporation.

Therefore, as the corporate representative (which would be his capacity in answering for the corporation), he can plead the Fifth as his corporate testimony could incriminate him personally.

That's not actually correct. The Fifth is only available to natural persons.

Not actually correct. They can't receive jail time, but they can be charged and convicted.

And then what will the hyper-partisan Warner and Burr do after they have the big meeting to hit him with Contempt? Throw him in their jail like they did AG Eric Holder?
