Im personally disappointed the POTUS isnt above these tactics.

I coming to despise the word optics and its political meaning. I'm completely in agreement with you on the appeal such a photo would have on certain groups. I'm not certain if the disdain the rest of America feels about the border chaos would make that a win for the dems.

Admittedly its the only MSNBC show I can watch for more than 10 consecutive seconds but, no, missed it this morning. Guessing optics was a focal point of discussion.

Why would he go to the Border? I mean it wasnt long ago that he said that our border was secure. Going there may make it look like he didnnt know what he was talking about. Or maybe he lied.

That's the reason he's not making an appearance. As it was stated earlier in this thread just showing up for a photo is not a smart move.
