I dont know if this was already posted. Apparently the Democrats dont want Americans to have cheaper medicine.
Can you guy believe this stab in the back from the left. There were actually Repubs like Cruz who wanted this bill to pass.

Do you think the blatant corruption and bias against him in the Democratic party and the way he was used and tossed aside by the upper echelon of the dem party had anything to do with it? (since you are too thick skulled to see the question)

Booker and the 13 Dems along wit a majority of Reps are completely FOS.
In most instances their "justification" comes courtesy of cooperation with Big Pharma lobbyists.
It's the same approach used by various proPharma Senators to shut down Hillary's attempt at a drug import bill just after she arrived in the Senate.
Ensuring "foreign drugs meet American safety standards" would require Big Pharma submitting those drugs to the FDA for approval. In the case of Canadian formulations, they'd never do that. Therefore Canadian drugs would never qualify in US markets.
So in cooperation with BigPharma, POS pols can suggest a regulatory plan which sounds good. and seems to put them on the people's side, but in reality ensures BigPharma we won't change a thing.
