Frankly, I'd like to see that vote take place again in California.

Then put a proposition to repeal Prop 8 on the California ballot if you are so sure it would win, bitch.

Kinsey's work was groundbreaking but his scale, from my reading, is not considered absolute today. Still, I'll acknowledge its relevance and value. However, I don't think acceptance of gay marriage is going to result in any real, demonstrative effect on people self-identifying as gay or engaging in gay sex.

Well you don't think gay activists have crosshairs on churches either. It is what it is.

His scale is not considered absolute? You have me at a bit of a loss. In your reading, what is considered absolute?

What I mean is that sexuality is not as accurately measurable as, say, serum cholesterol, but I'm not saying the scale isn't valuable if properly used.

I can assure you that is exactly what will happen if Prop 8 is affirmed. The California legislature has already indicated they will put the repeal on the ballot so we don't even have to go to the expense of collecting the required signatures to put it on the ballot.

ANd I like our chances very much if a repeal is put on the ballot. Plus, if this past year is any indication, the Mormons will not be bankrolling the opposition this time around. That means you're going to have to find a new money source or the gay activists are going to out raise the anti gay marriage opponents by a rate of like 10 to 1 probably.

That doesn't mean you can't do what the other out of state same sex marriage supporters did when Prop 8 was on the ballot and donate money to the pro same sex marriage cause.

After all, it wasn't just the out of state Mormons who donated a lot of money during the Prop 8 campaign.

Go for it, Toddy.

You people from another galaxy were so sure that you were going to win the last time and look what happened.

Surprised the shite out of you buggers, didn't it.

And don't worry about the money the people who are opposed to same sex marriage will have to spend.

We'll probably raise 10 times the amount that your side will raise even without the Mormon's money.

Don't forget, one of the reasons your side decided not to put a repeal of Prop 8 on the last ballot was because your side spent so much money fighting Prop 8 that your supporters didn't have enough money to mount another campaign to repeal Prop 8.

I'm sure there will be more young girls and young women who will self-identify as lesbians and
bisexuals because it will be the cool feminist in thing to do.

do you not think that moms have to pay child support of the dad gets custody? They do. You haven't discovered anything except your lack of understanding of the topic.

How much does that happen? Me and my brother was just talking about this the other week. To some judges it doesn't matter what a woman does, she get's full custody and get's to call the shots. We've met several guys who were basically indentured servants to some shank who cheated on them. Is that justice?

That is impressive. I was just curious because I don't hear about it a lot. I head cases wHere the mother is a complete POS but calls the shots.

Even with that, it is a true life lesson about keeping your Johnson sheathed.

re: Deadbeat dads - in a gay marriage
Yes indeed. That's why I plan on telling my son's not to even think about touching a girl unless they're prepared to take care of her, because I'm not going to take care of them.

Not the majority of the time, but that's only because, typically, the father is making a lot more money.

Clearly, your friends need better representation. Ahem.

Seriously, though, it's not really that way so much these days.

But, seriously again . . . they may need better representation. Double ahem.
