Then put a proposition to repeal Prop 8 on the California ballot if you are so sure it would win, bitch.
I can assure you that is exactly what will happen if Prop 8 is affirmed. The California legislature has already indicated they will put the repeal on the ballot so we don't even have to go to the expense of collecting the required signatures to put it on the ballot.
ANd I like our chances very much if a repeal is put on the ballot. Plus, if this past year is any indication, the Mormons will not be bankrolling the opposition this time around. That means you're going to have to find a new money source or the gay activists are going to out raise the anti gay marriage opponents by a rate of like 10 to 1 probably.
Go for it, Toddy.
You people from another galaxy were so sure that you were going to win the last time and look what happened.
Surprised the shite out of you buggers, didn't it.
And don't worry about the money the people who are opposed to same sex marriage will have to spend.
We'll probably raise 10 times the amount that your side will raise even without the Mormon's money.
Don't forget, one of the reasons your side decided not to put a repeal of Prop 8 on the last ballot was because your side spent so much money fighting Prop 8 that your supporters didn't have enough money to mount another campaign to repeal Prop 8.
