I’m speculating that Alexerod - the Clinton acolyte - made such statements at the behest of Hillary …..

Can’t have big Mike getting in the way of plans ….

Did Axelrod shed any light on who the real president has been the last three years? Why aren’t people insisting on an answer to this question?

She loves the parties & boats too much. She doesn’t want to campaign in the flyover states. It’s going to be Newsome.

Well no shite, she never was. This Michelle for president shite was spun up to fill the Right's constant need for boogeymen to blame their fears on.

I don’t think Democrats are comfortable with the amount of masculinity a Big Mike Presidency would involve. They want to keep things more soft and Obama- like. They are catchers, not pitchers. Big Mike would be stomping all over the place making demands and breaking shite and topping established Dems in public.

Many speculate it will be Newsome. Well they already floated that trial balloon.

It crashed and burned. He lost to a guy who in the end lost to DJT. I think they want a out of left field candidate. Its how both Bill and Obama won. I think they will try that again. Now if no one fits the bill Newsome could be the fall back choice. But its not Hilldawg or big Mike.

It’s how that inbred sloth won against Vitter but it only works if you have someone on your bench who meets certain criteria and you can take advantage of infighting on your opponent’s side.

Problem is that the Dem bench is pretty thin on competent non-ideologues to begin with due to the party’s major jumps left after 1994 and 2010. Lotta candidates up and down the ballot went bye bye because Clinton and Obama both got in and then pissed off people majorly over HillaryCare (failed) and ObamaCare (passed and a fricking mess).

In addition to that, while there are still NeverTrumpers, the RDS crew has backed down and Haley is losing to None Of The Above. This isn’t going to be Perot 92 or the three way slugfest that let Sloth through.

Axelrod is wrong. Put your beer down for a minute and think about it. The Dems have fricked this up so badly that there's no other choice than to go with familiar ground in the form of the spouse of 2-term POTUS. It's one helluva security blanket.

The only reason I think it’s a decent possibility is because of how bad an idea it would be in the first place. Bad idea = Democrats……it certainly makes sense on paper.
