I think the issue is with MSNBC and CNN television coverage I doubt they even mention it...

The print media probably is doing an an obligatory write up on it and burying it

The CNN one doesn't count. How do you report the incident and not say what the guys job was, how much money was wired, why authorities were watching them, etc...
One of CNN's better "nothing to see here" articles.

No mention of the DNC hack when the IT guy for head of the DNC at the time of the hack is caught fleeing the country?
What? I just Googled Awan, DNC and I couldn't find anything that says they were the head of the DNC IT.

Now they may have been behind the hacks, but it appears they were working for Ds in Congress.

Right, they publish those when they don't want to spend any resources covering a story.

Kind of bens point

yup.

Capitol police has been investigating this guy for months and he was banned from the House network in FEBRUARY. DWS keeps him on the payroll at 4 times the going rate until JULY.

Arwan tried to hide his laptop; capitol police find it and hold it as part of their investigation; DWS tries to claim its her laptop not Arwans and threatens the chief of police.

'IT guy accused of bank fraud, fired; used to work for DWS' is clearly the headline.

Liberal media bias entails what they don't present as news at least as much as news that they spin.

He was the IT guy for the head of the DNC which was DWS. Don't be obtuse. I didn't say he was IT for the DNC.

Oh in that case totally nothing to see here. He was just providing IT services for 24 house democrats. Under investigation by the DC police and was banned from the House network in February. What's less than a nothing burger? because that's what this is.

I misread it. My bad.

Either way, until we have more information, it's speculation (albeit logical) whether they had any access to the DNC, let alone had anything to do with the leaks. But the investigation may reveal otherwise, so we should be patient.

In other words, you're actually criticizing articles for not speculating before the evidence is available to support it.

I didn't say it's a nothing burger, but the possible front page material is just speculation. It may change, but right now it's there yet.

Media reports on story.

Media complains that media is not reporting on story, causing a second round of reporting on story.

Then conservatives complain that media is not reporting on story that media both reported on and then reported a second time while asserting (falsely) that media is not reporting on it.

And some of y'all don't get why we roll our eyes at the right wing and its media?

Yes. Which is why the actual news articles (excluding hacks like Mensch), aren't speculative.

Unfortunately the hack opinions pundits and commentators seem to carry more weight on a story than the stories themselves.

You saying yes makes me assume you misunderstood what I was saying. Or you just had a flash of honesty that is frankly unprecedented.

Booo. While I like to argue, I don't choose arguments that I can't defend from an honest position--although maybe I'm wrong or inadvertently hypocritical.
