No one is charging the kids with anything but what they have received has been through illegal action. So, lets say I conned people out of their savings for years, skimmed the books, built up huge bank accounts, bought vacation homes, and my kids lived the life of luxury without any involvement in my crimes. However, when I get caught, they get to keep all the houses and bank accounts that were acquired through my illegal actions? After all, they have been living the life of luxury for 15 years - it isn't fair to take all of that away from them, right?

I just have a problem with DACA because it is executive overreach.

Sure, it may feel good to implement DACA, but the way it was done wa probably unconstitutional.

We only lock up citizens who are convicted of crimes. You are a stupid individual.

Since when do we let children inherit ill gotten gains stolen by their parents? Those madoff kids got a tough break.

Can you think of a country controlling its borders and deciding who gets to enter and stay?

Look on the bright side. Your costs should go down on your cat sweater business when you relocate to Mexico.

Look at you!

Gett'n all preachy about protecting the innocents.

C'mon man, you know our culture does the abortion thing.

How far do you think you'll get with that argument?

So mom and dad go to jail. The kid becomes a ward of the state and ends up in a foster home.

Now there's your real punishment right there - the separation of a family that didn't need to be.

Shhhh... that's step two. First you have to sell people on what heartless, unholy bastards they are for wanting to send illegals back where they belong. THEN you sell them on what heartless, unholy bastards they are for sending their parents back where they belong, and splitting up families.

Open borders for everyone!

Not tried - simply asked to leave.

If you are someplace that you are not legally allowed to be - even if you didn't mean to be there, you're:

1. A trespasser

2. An invader

So, which is it?

What criteria must be met for anyone to accurately be called an American?

Maybe. Apply for legal residence and then pursue legal citizenship. Don't sit around and wait for "amnesty" that your folks thought would be automatic.

No foreign born alien is entitled to American citizenship by force.

good point. Kid napped children should remain with their captors. We should reward them for their illegal activity.
