CU Boulder: late to the segregation party

The University of Colorado Boulder has announced that it will be turning a residence hall into a “Social Justice Living Environment” with one “Living Learning Community” for “LGBTQIA-identified students and their allies,” another for “students passionate about diversity,” and another for “black-identified students and their allies.”
According to a press release from the university, each “Living Learning Community” will support members through programs and activities related to their particular flavor of disenfranchisement.
The changes – which will go into effect in the fall – are intended to “build supportive, educational spaces that provide students with an enriched living and learning experience.”
Anybody want to offer me a logical explanation as to why this is happening everywhere? It sure as shite isn't about being in a "comfortable setting" or any of their official lying crap.
It looks like they want to set up little Marxist enclaves where they don't have to worry about people who might spill the beans about their various fun projects.

It only took the Dems about 60 years, but I'll be damned if they haven't finally convinced blacks and other minorities that segregation is a good thing.

I'm surprised it took them this long to implement. Boulder is as far left as it gets.

I used to manage an off campus (barely) apt complex in Boulder and had a tranny tenant. Colorado was kind of famous for that because Trinidad ( the city) was where they did the deed. He was a pretty good dudette.

But there's no way that this is happening all over the place just because they "feel uncomfortable" around whites or whatever bullshite reason they keep spouting. Obama spent 8 years filling as many places with his radical communist dipshits, so there has got to be a bigger picture.

This is a codeword for "passionate about hating white people."

Again, exactly the opposite of Dr. King's dream............ And if you ask them (or those who support this) about how this flies in the face of MLK, they have no answer.

It is the idea of safe spaces applied to campus living accommodations. University administrators all over the country are acquiescing to demands like these because they are low hanging fruit.

Is this a "back to the future" movement? Looks like these people want to build the railroad tracks back through the middle of town. Let 'em. I'm okay with it.

Gotta love those labels. I think I'll go to te bank with a handgun wearing a t-shirt that says "American Movement for the Equitable Separation of People from their Money".

The Segregation continues at the highest level of learning in the known world.

Do some people's brains just zone out during the I Have A Dream Speech and not register what he's saying? They still show that in school, right? This is the inverse of all that MLK stood for.

Finally, Rachel Dolezal had a place where she can do Rachel.

Nothing says unity like separate dorms.
Hopefully discrimination makes a full comeback soon and if you don't want to print gay tshirts or bake a gay cake, you aren't forced to or go out of business.

Next they will be demanding separate classes, maybe even separate school systems. Crazy

I have two kids at CU. One in undergrad and one at Leeds. What's interesting about this article is that CU is only 2% black. With 30k students, that's roughly 600 kids. I bet most of those students are on athletic scholarship and would live in the athletic dorms ...

Blacks only water fountains, blacks only in the balcony at theaters, etc. Seems as if I've seen this movie before.
