Trump has actually handled that extremely well. If I remember correctly he said “I will make a deal that will make both sides happy.” It may not be true, but it was perfectly said. State is very reliant on federal govt money. The only thing they produce is potash and oil/gas. The productive areas are conservative but the are too small in population to the government dependent Liberals that dominate the valley corridor.

This is the all time stupidest reason to vote for a Democrat. Ultimate example of cutting your nose off to spite your face. Go on one of the many methods of birth control, use condoms, do both, have an operation, whatever. It’s not difficult. I never had kids, because I don’t want the responsibility, and bringing a child into this world if you can’t handle the responsibility of raising a child is one of the worst things a person can do. The kid does not deserve that.
And like I said, not having kids is one of the easiest things I’ve ever done. And let’s just say my 20s were a wild arse time.

NM is probably like ND and several other states where there is institutionalized voting corruption on tribal lands.
Normally that only affects the Senate seats for the state and not the Presidential votes but there are also a lot of lefty morons in places like Taos who likely have a lot of sway given how sparsely populated the state is.
