Hypothetical
You're a black man and get stopped by police - for whatever reason.

Are your odds of getting shot greater or less if you

Comply with police directions?

or

Resist and flee?

That he's unarmed is irrelevant because the cops can't just assume that

Pulled over for cycling without a light.

Ridiculous

Cops created a fatal encounter for no damn good reason, like the often do.

People who are as dumb as you are should be euthanized for the good of the gene pool

Dude rode a bicycle across six lanes of traffic at night without the legally required safety light. And then he's the one who ran which turned it into a fatal situation.

You sure generalize and stereotype a lot.

What does one have to do with the other??
You're confused.

We should start teaching kids how to interact with police during traffic stops whatever

Collier County hosts an event where their police force invites kids/adults on the spectrum that drive to interact with the police and do practice traffic stops.

They do that so the spectrum person and the cop will understand what's going on.

I think police orgs doing this for the inner cities would be great since that seems to be where the problem is.

However, a criminal isn't going to just behave because of a practice engagement with a cop in his youth.

(suspect running away)
Officer: "I'll fricking shoot you!"
(suspect begins to stop and look back)
Officer: (So now he wants to stop and turn, eh?) Blam Blam Blam.

But they were worried about a knife that they couldn't see?

The guy was obviously in some severe emotional distress before they tried to cuff him.

Yeah, frick that guy for riding a bike at night without a light. He deserved to die.

It's like false narratives aka lies are compulsive with certain people.

The stop was legitimate and he then freaked out and shoved the officers in an attempt to flee. Now I don't have any idea why the officers fired but to argue the escalation wasn't unequivocally a result of him shoving officers and then resisting arrest is blatant dishonesty or an extreme example of delusion due to an incapability of even the most rudimentary objective observation.

Lol sucks for you I have a half dozen kids and they are all very intelligent, reading at 3 years old, etc. One might be a literal genius.

Yep. It's a no win situation. That's why I don't run from the police

The officer who originally contacted Harmon drew his stun gun, and another, Officer Clinton Fox, drew his gun. All three officers reported hearing Harmon threaten to cut them. They saw him reach toward his right pants pocket and that he had something in his hand, the report said.
Fox later told investigators he saw a knife in Harmon’s hand with the blade exposed. He believed another officer was dangerously close to Harmon, he said.

Justified.
