Hillary, clearly did not divest of the Clinton Foundation while SOS, and was clearly walking back promises to stop taking foreign donations when she thought she would be President.......

Chelsie was still deeply involved in CGI the whole time her mom was SOS and her dad was collecting speaking fees from international interests.......

Bill Clinton joked on the trail, "the best thing about electing Hillary is, You get me", signifying his intent to be involved (he may have been correct, too)......

John Kennedy appointed brother Robert as Attorney General of the US during his admin.......

I'm sorry, I'm not worried about the involvement of the TRUMP family up to this point.... Let's wait until he is sworn in, then lets see if they act in an unscrupulous manner.

Nut up with all the gnashing of teeth and wringing of hands.

Double standard is beyond transparent and hilarious. Nobody gives a shite but Democrat base voters who need something to bitch about.

He relied on his family throughout the campaign. it's only reasonable they would be a part of the transition as he values their judgement. Once he gets his cabinet and staff set then he will have more people to rely on.

Still, I highly suspect him to reach out to bounce things off of them from time to time. I'm fine with that. In fact, I encourage it. I think every President or every person with a lot of responsibility should utilize all the resources at their disposal to make the right decision.

Two months ago Trump was a failed businessman who has goofed and conned his way to the top. Now, he's a shrewd businessman with an overreaching empire who will do anything to turn his billions into zillions and will kill anyone necessary to do it.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm in the wrong line of work. Politics is amazing. You can say anything you want and half the population will think it's reality.

The Clintons missed their deadline by months to put their assets in a blind trust when they were sworn into office in 1992. It bothered not one single liberal. Not one (with the lone exception of perhaps Vince Foster).

They're feigning outrage.

I'd like to know what percentage of Trump voters even care about a conflict of interest. Obviously, I'm not talking about his company building something and having a foreign government pay triple value as a bribe (aka "Hillary style"). But as far as day to day operations of the family business, the guy is already a billionaire and his kids are worth around $150 million each and will inherit much more - so does it really matter if foreign political figures stay at his hotel while in this country? I think all of this is coming from Hillary voters who will obviously find anything to bitch about, so their concerns are irrelevant.
How many Trump voters here have real concerns about the conflict of interests?

There have been conflicts of interest starting before George Washington. And G Wash had a huge conflict. He never divested.

This is America, not Utopia. If Trump ends up more wealthy, as all former POTUS' do, as long as the majority of the country benefits, and mostly myself, count me in as I don't give a frick.

How's that for sticking to my "principled conservatism"? Honesty, it's number one on my list.
