Conflict Expert on Possible Trump Win: Thousands Could ‘Storm White House’

I've never known anyone in federal law enforcement (except Border Patrol agents), much less Secret Service, but aside from the likelihood of the scenario presented in the article, how many people would it take for an armed insurrection to actually "storm the White House" and force President Trump to flee?

What I mean by that is:

1) At what point would the Secret Service/National Guard Troops simply refuse to fire on those attacking the White House? If they were faced with the possibility of having to shoot and kill hundreds, or potentially even thousands of American citizens, would they simply refuse to do that?

2) At what point would they simply be overwhelmed by sheer numbers? Again, I don't know how many Secret Service personnel may be in the White House grounds at any given time, but assuming SS were the ONLY LEOs on site, if two to three THOUSAND people surrounded the White House and started tearing down the fence/gates, would the SS even be able to prevent that?

Just curious from some of y'all who may have better knowledge of this type of thing if the worse case scenario came to pass.
