At a comedy show on Friday in Dallas, actor and comedian Eddie Griffin encouraged the 15,000 members of the audience to assassinate Donald Trump.

From The Blaze:

“Do your historic duty. You guys assassinated JFK. Next time he comes to Dallas, stick him in a convertible, drive him by the grassy knoll, get the rednecks out to the grassy knoll,” Griffin said. “Y’all took out one president, you need to take out another.”

Conservative radio host Ben Ferguson was in the audience and even live streamed part of the show.

According to Ferguson, Griffin began acting out an assassination as he continued. “Y’all need to put Trump into a convertible and take him out, or better yet, the driver should take him out,” he said as he pretended to be a sniper.

Ferguson also viewed the comedy show as antagonistic in general towards Trump, not much of a comedy show at all. “This wasn’t a comedy show, this was a comedy show turned ‘let’s kill Trump’ show,” he told The Blaze.

Ferguson noted that there were celebrities in the show and media in the audience, yet none reported on it.

“How was it that not one single news organization covered this; can you imagine if any Republican made these remarks about a liberal,” Ferguson said. “These are A-list celebrities on tour with a guy calling for Trump’s assassination, how can they continue to work with him? Where’s the accountability here?”

Excellent points.

Where is the mainstream media on this or should we even ask?

Not mentioning any threats against the President, but doing all manner of things to attack him is where they are…

This is basically how the left reacts to people faking "Trump attacks" and then they shift to the motto: oh at least he started the arguement. They are just "speaking their mind" when they do it.

Pretty sure it's a crime to even joke about it in such a manner.

I'll bet that "comedy" went over really well in D-town.

JFK assassination comedy is always good for a belly-laugh in Dallas

So this happened 5 days ago and it sounds like none of us had even heard about it.

Compare that to the non-stop media coverage of Michael Richard's bizarre melt down in a comedy club when he went off in an N-word-laced rant against a customer he felt was being rude.

The disproportionate coverage speaks volumes about the America media.

Yeah because Madonna and Sarah Silverman are cellmates. Face it, these celebrities can say what they want because the right is too pussy to throw one of them in jail and make an example of them.

It's not actually. Not in this case. It's the way he said it. He's covered by free speech.

I don't like Trump and even I find this wildly inappropriate. My feelings have nothing to do with the fact that I live in Dallas. I just don't think people should talk about assassinating the president, no matter who it is.

Pretty sure Bill Hicks justified the assassination of George Bush and Clinton in one of his routines. No one gave a frick because it's a comedian. Comedians will try to get attention any way possible. This isn't newsworthy stuff regardless of who's president.

Yeah! Let's make an example of people for using their right to speak out against their government!

No one is questioning his right to speak out against the govt. He called for the ASSASSINATION OF THE PRESIDENT.

If you don't know the difference you're beyond hope.

If you look three posts up, you will see my reaction to it. I think it is inappropriate. That being said, it is completely legal. He is a comedian, in the middle of an act. This is the United States of America. This isn't the Middle East. This isn't Cuba. You can say things about your leaders here that they don't like. Even making jokes about them being murdered. 1st Amendment.

Well link it here so we can all know wtf you're talking about.

And as an aside, I tell you in all seriousness that I think you're a paid shite-stirrer from one of the whacky leftist groups who pay sub-minimum wage to internet trolls.

I've got my eye on you.

Moreover, let's say the media did cover it extensively.

What would the reaction be here?

Would it be:

1. Good job media, thanks for bringing us this informative story.

Or

2. fricking biased fake news media is irresponsible for proliferating this talk of assassinating the president from this insignificant comedian.

Please be candid.
