Don't want to be called a rapist, don't have sex outside of marriage.
How serious do you think Mirkovich would have treated the situation if it was the male student who expressed remorse over the drunken sex? Do you think she would have recommended expulsion for the female student?

If he is indeed not only not guilty - but innocent - he should find a lawyer and sue the shite out of them.
yea, I'm sure he doesn't mind putting his life on hold for a couple of years...no big deal

Why don't you instead start a thread for every raped woman?
But then we would need a rape board.
You're trying too hard, dude.

i have a friend going through this nightmare, but it is in the criminal justice system
this truly is a double standard and example of female privilege
and i say this as a person who has been drugged at a bar, so i know how scary that can be the next morning

I never had to get girls drunk to frick em.
Maybe not. But, one thing is for DAMN SURE -- all the fatties you f*cked had to get themselves f*cking plastered just to f*ck you.
Of course, they just thought about all the money you were paying them when they were going through that horrendous experience.

OK, haven't read this thread at all...too long. But I'll give you Camille Paglia's take:
She says campus date rape does NOT exist. A girl goes to a party. Hooks up with a guy and has sex. Guy doesn't call her the next day. Brags to his friends. Girl gets pissed and goes to the 'council' and charges him with rape. The college council does not require the standards of evidence needed in a criminal proceeding. They don't have the power to send him to prison only to kick him out of school.
The girl knows this. She doesn't want the guy in prison. She wants him kicked out of school. The council does not vote on evidence. They vote on who they believe. They err on the side of safety and vote for the girl. The guy can either get a lawyer and take the college to court or just move on.
Camille has been a college prof for a very long time. I think she's right.
