Pat Shingleton, one of the local BR TV weather guys, last week said BR has had 32 days of temperature at or below freezing so far this winter.

That compares to 16 days for an average winter.

For Alabama, the worst heat wave was in 1925, and the worst cold wave was in 1899.

OMG, you guys are baking in heat. Up here in Shreveport it's gotta be more than 80 days.

That may be more than we had this year. Weird winter. Jan. was 7 degrees above normal, Feb was about 7 degrees below normal.

I've lived in Ark. since '83 and this was the coldest winter so far. Summer of 2012 has been the hottest.

I have no idea what that means and don't care. I'll dress accordingly.

where I live, its been cold but we also have had some really warm days too.

I know my friends in the upper mid west are bitching non stop. Same for friends in Boston, holy frick they got pounded with cold and snow this year.

The weather has been really strange this last year. I know in December, we had the all time dec high and all time dec low within 7 days of each other.

I've been in North Dakota for 5 weeks. It has recently warmed up, but even the locals were constantly complaining about the enduring cold of this winter.
During the worst of it, temps of -51 were reported at the jobsite in SW North Dakota and as cold as -65 below further north.

Actually, it does. But I'm not going to argue with people who have their minds made up because of their politics. And, yes, that is more typical of the right wing deniers than it is of scientists who are at least trying to be objective.

Did the ice age predicted in 1977 cause the global warming that is now causing the global cooling?

Objective about what? Statistics and modeling?

Give me properties of matter then we have something to talk about.
