Here is the exchange:

quote:

Blanche: Did you mean it when you said revenge is a dish best served cold?

Cohen: Yes, sir.

Blanche: You were willing to lie under oath if it affects your personal life, correct?

Cohen: I don’t understand your question.

Blanche: You testified under oath months ago that you were willing to lie if it affects your personal life, correct?

Cohen: Yes, sir.

Blanche: So I’m asking the same question to you now: would you still be willing to lie if it affects your personal life?

Bragg prosecutor: Objection!

Merchan: Objection sustained

Blanche: Would you be willing to lie if it affects you personally?

Cohen: Yes, sir.

I'm gonna say that about 100% of all criminals feel the same way.

And yet Cohen has been already perjured himself before but he is on the stand testifying.

It sounds like that Robert Durst cross on jinx 2. “My testimony is mostly true.”

Gage Grosskreutz

Heh. Wonder how the clink is treating ol bicep boi these days?

He was certainly one of the most self deprecating "star prosecution witnesses" I've ever beheld. You realize something is complete weaponized lawfare when your star witness is the one who actually committed the crime against the defendant... True in the Rittenhouse trial as well as this bogus and illegitimate Trump trial.

We have devolved into a complete banana republic with kangaroo courts. I remember when America used to at least pretend to be fair and just.

Gaige Grosskreutz will never be topped, even by Cohen. I’ve never seen a defense attorney play the fiddle on the key state witness like that. His performance was a legal masterclass. He just dog walked Gaige into verbally agreeing with the defense team in front of the jury/country that he still had two biceps until he first pointed a loaded gun at Kyle’s head.

Yep. ^^^ This.

The whole Rittenhouse indictment and trial was a travesty of justice and a complete farce to begin with. ALL of the evidence presented in court was already very public and most of it had already been aired on all the major networks. Everyone with any sense of the legal definition of "self defense" knew that KR acted in self preservation and that Grosscrotch literally approached KR and pulled a gun to shoot him. I mean, the dumb shite literally walked up to a scared kid on the ground wielding a loaded AR-15 and thought to himself, "hey I should pull my pistol on this kid because I bet I can shoot him before he can squeeze the trigger of that rifle that's pointed right at me after he already domed a pedophile that attacked him and just added a new arterial opening to skater boi over there."

The only "new" evidence even presented in that trial was a clip of aerial drone footage that simply showed parts of the incident that were already well documented but from a different angle.

I can remember watching the "Young Turks" following along live with the trial, and watching Ana Kasparian, in real time, have to openly profess over and over again with every new testimony and piece of evidence presented, that KR clearly acted in self defense and that she had "never seen" all the video evidence that somehow only she was insulated from in the months leading up to the trial. I distinctly remember her even saying something along the lines of "why did this even go to trial?" Of course, she went right back to being an indoctrinated airhead right after that but by golly, there was a moment of clarity there.
