Since the media fails to cover TRUMP objectively and attacks him at every turn, they don't deserve ANY access.

This guy will be the greatest ever. He is going after every aspect of the establishment including its vaunted traditions.

You know what else breaks "well-established norms?" Being fricking unabashedly and openly biased against one presidential candidate. You frickers made this bed...lay in it.

Great!.... frick CNN. I want CNN and MSNBC totally black balled. Cut them off totally. And all you that watch CNN and NBC are putting money into the pockets of people that hate you and have absolutely no respect for you.

Typical journalists making the story about them. As if the president serves them.

They're mad because this will lead to fewer stories for them if they can't report every time he farts. Less content to feed the 24/7 news cycle.

And what they continually miss: the public gives no shits about them. More miscalculation of outrage.

Geaux Trump.

I hope he turns that elitist thinking upside down over the next four years.

Oh the censorship! Well, actually they'd have to be a legitimate news organization first.

I wonder what part of "you media folks are terrible, terrible people" did they not understand?

I applaud Trump for this. Again, hopefully Trump gives them a press pass and if they are allowed to ask a question, he will give them solid one word answers.

Was it a norm for a candidate for the presidency to rope off and ignore the press for the entire campaign?

No and they let her get away with it.

He could block all press passes but FOX and I wouldn't care.

Hell, per the media, he has already broken every promise even though not yet in office and they are showing in depth how he will destroy the world.

If he has no policy or plan which is what we heard over and over, how do they know his unknown plans / policy will destroy the world?

So Trump will trade access for positive coverage, much like Putin. And you guys think this is a good thing? We are about to have the least transparent President in history and you guys are celebrating it.

You mean honest reporting not "positive coverage."

Regardless of the tone of their coverage, it is never a good thing to ice out the press. That's what autocrats do.

So howl, you assholes. Howl with the fricking wolves.

1) That's a matter of perception, and you know it.
2) The solution cannot be "bar the doors."

Reminds me of Fox News being uninvited to a press conference on The YouTube video link to Bengazi.

Oh, so our autocratic President gets to set the rules for press access? Any critical coverage will be banned. HOWL.
