Just out of curiosity what is the quota now for women, color, and sexual orientation that administrations must appoint now?
CNN, the left, and the rest of main stream media are obsessed with minorities, gender, and sexual orientation, and/or Shims. Sickening really.
What about those people that have clown fetishes, feet fetishes or that like skat films? Should not they also have a position in a Trump administration?

I believe the idea is that diversity (specifically diversity of culture, not necessarily race) leads to a greater variety of opinions, which increases the likelihood that the best idea will present itself when coming up with solutions. I don't think they are going for affirmative action on the political appointments.

I'm all for diversity of thought. The idea that diversity of race leads to diversity of thought is racist.

If someone comes from a different culture, they will likely have different ideas. Culture is shaped from nationality, where you live, your family, even gender plays a part in how you think and act.

Identity politics is the only thing the modern left knows. Merit means nothing. Genitalia, skin color, and sexual orientation are the only defining features that matter.

I've literally never met a single soul who is a vocal advocate for "diversity" that thinks "diversity of ideas" is a good thing. In fact, quite the opposite actually.

So women of color now applies to women who neither identify with nor look like black people - the original "people of color". Another shift in the Alt Right/White Supremacist strategy to turn the progressive agenda on its head. Thanks.
