Democrats have no power other than as obstructionists in the senate.
They can even lose that power if the Republicans had the balls to go Constitutional on them.

By the way...one of the amendments that the GOP passed? Was to make members of Congress take part in Obama Care. The Dems bill said they did not have to take the great insurance they were forcing on the rest of us.

Those amendments were added AFTER the bill left committee.
Do you understand how that works? Do you understand thaf if they wished, the Dems could RIGHT NOW have a health care bill of their own in committee ? Instead they are simply whining about the GOP. When the bill comes out of committee if the GOP then says "we don't want to hear from Dems" then yes I'd be disappointed. Even if they know a the Dems are going to say is "no no no " I want them given the opportunity to do so.
