I see any sect who chooses not to assimilate into the culture that has allowed them to stay is a group to be wary of.

Dude I'm not even trolling. Dead serious. People need to let go of their hatred for a religion. If Christians would extend an olive branch, maybe this country would be a better place for everyone.

He admitted earlier.

You shouldn't have to assimilate into a culture. That isn't how culture works. You bring a piece of your culture with you anywhere you go. Your culture is made up of so many different aspects of your life. It isn't something you just change.

You are trolling.

You said that the number of Muslim terrorists was equal to the number of Christians that would blow up an abortion clinic. You didn't provide any data.

You then asked Vols and shaft to back up his assertion.

Trolling 101

Devils advocate isn't trolling. And that isn't even what I'm doing right now. I'm being critical of the popular view on this board that I think is wrong and trying to promote dialogue about it.

You can google it. There are many studies and surveys, but most I've seen put the number of active radical Muslim at about 1%. That's about 10 million.

The numbers that sympathize and are potential jihadist is 25-30%.

Why do Christians need to extend an olive branch? Why don't all the moderate American muslims do it?

And your flat wrong on you statement about the same number of abortion clinic bombers and radical muslims. There is not an entire organized group of people blowing up abortion clinics that spans multiple countries. I don't know the number, or if it's even possible to derive a specific percentage, but it is far more than abortion clinic bombing christians. However, as I've stated before, I don't like painting the other, peaceful Muslims as being one in the same.

We are a majority in this country. And if we want to claim we are the better people, why shouldn't we be the ones to extend the olive branch?
