Suddenly libs have a lot of scrutiny towards SCIENCE! and studies when it says things they don't like. It is not a secret that gay men fetishize youth and are weak on the protection of children from being exposed to sexual abuse from much older adults. Anywhere you look, most gay men's first experience is when they were very young and with a very much older man. They are pretty open about it and you see celebs like Stephen fry all the time with their catamites in tow like it is supposed not be revolting.

The Best Man and Maid of Honor at my wedding were both homosexuals. They were completely normal people. He was my best friend all thru high school and my roommate at college. I knew he was "different" but didn't care - he was my best friend. He was taken away in the first wave of AIDS - before it even had that name.

Regardless of my friendship with him, I would not have wanted him to raise children. I had no problem with what he wanted to do with his S.O. but to put an innocent child into that environment would necessarily warp its sense of what is "normal."

You can go on all you want about 'normal' but I will rely on the millennia of civilized evolution on what is the proper foundation of civilization and choose not to tamper with that based on a couple dozen years of sexual 'experimentation' enacted by governmental dictate. IF, in another several hundred years, people just naturally began to think allowing same-sex unions to be in charge of raising the next generations, then so be it.
