I'm sure all the progressives here who are defending the brave millionaires can agree, it's completely unheard of for companies to discourage controversial political activism on company time. Companies love this shite.

Trump is totally off base when he said he'd fire an employee for doing this. Amirite?

NFL owners haven't fired any one and they have the ability to do so at any time.

Are you against private companies doing what they like?

Is it defending them if you don’t give a shite at all? Because you guys seem to be the ones that care.

Not at all. I'm not complaining about special treatment for left wing millionaires.

I'm just pointing out they're getting special treatment by not being canned.

Trump can fire whoever he wants. So can the NFL owners.

Athletes free expression = Sons of bitches

Nazis free expression = some fine people

They’re getting special treatment because they make shite tons of money for the people who would otherwise fire them. It’s not hard to figure out.

Where I work you can semi get away with it if your politics are based on "diversity ", would have never gotten away with a private email server doing company business.

Why does that only seem to apply to conservatives?

I don't give a shite either way. I haven't watched the NFL for a decade. This isn't changing my viewing habits.

I mostly find it funny and hypocritical. Funny because all the bubbas who do care are going to get mad and some will continue to cut the cord (which had already been happening before this) and the owners should have fired Goodell before he got them in this mess. They don't want this shite, as their blackball of Kap is evidence.

When the election was going on we were strongly discouraged by our CEO from speaking about the election over "water cooler" conversation.

If by political activism you mean abstaining from a non-required,non-enforced activity then i dont think theyd care.

You know very well that's not what they're doing. I know that you know. You know that I know that you know.

Let's drop that silly charade.

When at work someone sings the national anthem. Not just at ceremonies or the like?
