It was a late push with lots of ads like this that allowed Blanco to beat Jindal the first time he ran. He played nice and did not fire back and I think he lost alot of the elderly vote. I know my grandpa and many of his friends were swayed by this strategy.

So, did they regret it?

She's the incumbent. If an incumbent is polling under 50%, the undecided, or those voting for a candidate other than the main opposition usually break for the main challenger in a run off.

She's toast.

Is this one of those situations where it is good that she has that committee chair or would Cassidy actually be a good thing for La also? I'm confused here. And I personally hate her but I want what's good for our State.

It does make for some good discussion, especially when you have long time extreme republican arse kisser Boysie Bollinger actively campaigning for the whore.

I'm kind of thinking that if the repubs gain back the power, the state is going to get what it needs from Washington anyway, so maybe the power that ML claims to have really isn't as important.

Wake up. Landrieu votes Lock Step with the Dem party which does NOTHING good for this state. She will throw a show vote out there once it's clear an issue is in the bag for the Dems

I'm trying to get more info. So can you link me something. You are just a guy saying she votes lock step with Dem Party. But is there anytime she votes outside of that for say the oil industry, etc?

Her voting record is the link. She has voted 97% of the time with the Democrat Party. The other 3% were votes which were close to her elections and already counted in the yay column for the Dems. Just like Charlie Melancon who was one of the last persons to cast a vote on Obamacare. It was decided so he voted against it in order to save face. It didn't work

If you are against Obamacare, then she needs to go. She was the deciding vote on that bullshite.

I'm really beginning to think there's a strong possibility that Cassidy wins it outright.

I think Maness would have to drop out for that to happen. Hope you're right though.

Your response to anything Rasmussen should be "dr". Look at his methodology. He calls only landlines
Even Nate says it's looking worse for Mary. LINK
He must be calling landlines over 50.

IMO, irrelevant in this election. Louisiana - especially the older generation - is full of former Democrats. Chances are those landline owners probably voted for Landrieu at some point. Considering Cassidy hasn't really done a whole lot of campaigning this can't be good for Landrieu.
