you're right....they were probably hijacked and flown to some remote island in the middle of the night without any lights and they're all living off of coconut milk and rodent meat.
Stop acting like a brat.
That is hardly the only alternative to what you're saying.
Just so we're clear, it sounds like you might think the plane disappeared in a bermuda-like triangle. Is that what you believe?

I find that article offensive,

Has any of these happened in "modern" times?

no...the f'n thing crashed. there have been over 80 "missing" planes since 1948...i'm pretty sure they all f'n crashed too.

You said there's overwhelming evidence the plane crashed, what is that evidence?
There seems to be more evidence of foul play.

i was being sarcastic...i said there was overwhelming evidence that aliens were involved.
they had a plane disappear over Lake Michigan for Christs sake. nothing was ever found.

i'm not saying there wasn't foul play....i'm saying the thing crashed.

How many of these planes made no distress call?
How many of them were commercial aircraft?
How many of them were flown by an anti government pilot with a flight simulator in his house?
How many of them had passengers with fake passports, later to be photoshopped in pictures at the airport?

1948, eh? Why didn't those passengers just use their cellphone cameras in 1948? Something tells me that in 2014 the world has a little bit more sophisticated airline tracking system than in 1948.
Did any of those 80 "missing" planes since 1948 turnaround mid-flight and continue to fly for 7.5 hours? That's the thing, the plane made a 100 degree to 180 degree turn, and then dropped off of radar. If the plane was in trouble, I'm certain the captain would have relayed that message to air traffic control.

It seems to be a pretty obvious terrorist hijacking. The only things odd about it are:
A. their success in pulling it off and not crashing it obviously
B. the fact that no terrorist organizations have yet to come forward and claim credit for the hijacking. This leads me to point #2.

People only steal things for 2 reasons: to use them or to sell them. Terrorists steal things for a third reason: to make a bold statement. Seeing as no statement has been made and selling such a plane would be asinine, that only leaves using it. If the plane were being "used" to send a message, the group responsible would have already claimed credit for the attack and all of the helpless infidels they vanquished with it. This means they are going to use it as part of another plot. There were loosely controlled islands within fueling range they could have landed on. This plane is still out there and it will be used for something. What though, remains to be seen. What I fear is that it will be used as a delivery system for a very very large dirty bomb or bio weapon attack sometime in the near future.

Not a commercial plane.
3 people were on board that plane and it crashed into a jungle. Tiny plane in a jungle, hardly the same thing we're dealing with here.

It's interesting that you demand evidence, links and specifics from others yet you never require it of yourself....you just like to discuss in the abstract.

Your obsession is noted.
I'm not the one claiming things in this thread.
And in my thread I did link and support things, literally 3 posts above your comment that said I don't support things.
If you want to attack me, that's fine, but be more ethical about it. Blatant lies aren't tolerated.

Is it possible to land a 777 softly in open sea?
Assuming it's fuel was exhausted, and it landed largely in-tact, why would there be debris floating on the surface?

There are so many other ways to deliver a "dirty bomb" without having to go through such an elaborate plot, which plot would draw the eyes of the entire world to your corner of the world to look for the fricking commercial airliner loaded with people.
