Yeah, that always cracks me up. They leave their shithole country because it sucks arse then go to a new country then want to turn that country into the same shithole they just left. Same with Muslims in Europe.

Same with Californians moving away from Cali. They sure do love to watch that toilet spiral a lot. They take it with them wherever they go.

But but but, THIS time our failed policies and procedures WILL work we just KNOW it. Facts and history be damned!

I've seen that first hand in AZ. It's amazing that they can't understand their own motivation for leaving.

As someone that was born in California but raised in Arkansas, would I be getting deported? Or would I get dual citizenship?

Seriously? Some of you need to get out more. Of course the inner city nuts voted for Crooked, as did inner city everywhere. There were also more votes cast for Trump than in any state other than Florida or Texas. Make no mistake, I'll be heading out soon due to cost of living and state politics, but CA is not the huge monolithic block of left wing solidarity that some of you seem to think.

Yes, please! I'm sure a national referendum would confirm the fact that nobody will miss them. Good riddance!

We're a donor state. We give the Feds more than we get back. We also grow about a quarter of Americas agriculture and obviously dominate tech. We'd likely be considerably better off as a separate country. Still it's not something serious people are considering.

Let them go. That's 55 locked in democratic electoral votes gone. Democrats will have a hard time winning again.

Oh I know this. After all, the state voted multiple times against Gay Marriage and other (ahem) "conservative" (cough) issues. This same 1 person = 1 vote so Hellary should be president mass. Perfect example of pure democracy being mob rule.

Any state that produces the likes of Kamala Harris can get itself out of the Union any time, the sooner the better!

And with much of your water coming from out of state, turning off the faucet would ensure CA would be completely devastated

Is Baltimore no longer in Maryland?

I would be completely ok with Maryland getting the heck out of the Union. But, if you'll take the time to actually look at the stats before you laugh, only 7 jurisdictions (including Baltimore) voted for the Crooked. 20 counties voted for Trump. So look at the stats before you post!

Will never happen, but would probably be better for CA in the long run. They would be forced to pay for desalination plants and build power plants rather than handing the money to lazy entitled POS and illegals.

Perhaps you should stop laughing to hard and start making some sense instead.

oregonians have proposed a western union of British Columbia, Washington, Oregon and California. this corresponds to the marketing region of eco-topia.

common ground.

on the first morning after, I told my wife there were already 100,000 signatures on a California secession petition, she said, it should be Oregon and Washington too.

let my people go.

The point is about inner cities vs. rural and suburban areas. There are many more large cities in CA than Maryland. Not that hard to understand. I'm not trying to defend the lunacy in CA, just find it amusing that you don't seem to recognize the same issues in your backyard.
