If BR is so great why do a lot of people that work in Baton Rouge live outside the city?

If BR is so great why do most of the BRPD officers live outside the city?

Why do people put up with an hour commute or more to drive to work in BR?

It is people want good schools and trade off of higher taxes is worth it!

Yes I pay taxes on property in Baton Rouge, unincorporated EBRP Eastside fire district and st George fire district. Property tax inside the city is higher plus services are horrible unless you live downtown.

Best part is LSURussian who has a communist name which is very insulting to people like myself that seen people leave east Germany when the wall came down wants to control us like Russians. I didn't see west Germans running to east Germany when I was over there.

I say let the people vote myself included and then let the people live with the results of the election!

Quick question, did you go to public or private school? In EBR or elsewhere?

Yes, they did according to the EBR Registrar of Voters who has to certify the signatures before the proposal can be submitted to the Sec of State. Deal with it.

The guy puts out so much disinformation out there, I just try and present some facts for those who don't know his style.

It started when he compared the SG proposed budget with that of other cities and he "forgot" to mention that city budgets aren't all the same and some cities provide services other cities no not provide.

I think I got that point across, so I guess I won, right? After all he quickly diverted the discussion to whether or not Ms. Lamb had the authority to create a new deadline to get the petition on the ballot, or whether she was just providing her opinion.
