Bud Light: Why the Right loses

Our side is led by a bunch of phony grifters. I am not sure if that is just the nature of modern post-Regan libertarianism element of conservatism or the left/uni-party planting these "gate-keeper" types in position of high influence within the conservative influence-sphere.
They essentially seem to only be there to suppress and gatekeep more effective, sincere, and willing conservatives, and they have been able to make a killing simply spouting safe, regime approved conservative talking points.
The regime knows, for now, they must still have the appearance of an opposition, otherwise sheep may look around and begin to "notice" things they are not permitted to notice.
So back to Bud Light. The right has been winning on this boycott. It has been effective, and the regime has noticed. They probably could care less about Bud Light, and more about the possibility of the right learning how to coordinate and use their collective bargaining power to spread their workdview over the current liberal world view that dominates American culture.
So a call was probably made, give UFC, Dana White, Kid Rock, and a bunch of other influencers a boatload of cash, in turn being the sheep back to drinking the goat urine again. They simply cannot let this continue and God forbid, the right sees it through and successfully takes a scalp for once.

I think the Bud light boycott worked. It caused the company to change it's messaging and essentially saddle up with their customers: UFC fans and Kid Rock fans. They're still never going to get 20% of their old customers back.

Bud light will never fully recover. They took notice. I doubt they ever tread into the culture wars again.
Lots of good people that didn’t have any input in the horrible decision lost their livelihood.
Drink it or don’t drink it. But know AB North America heard the message and righted the ship.

A few will drift back. It was my preferred beer. I drank a ton of it over the years. But now I drink 4-5 beers a week. I drink a local beer mostly now. But if I’m at a concert or something I’ll enjoy a bud light.

Liberals have been pushing this insane bullshite down our throats for well over a decade. We finally find an effective way to make them eat shite for it one time and now some want to call it “mission accomplished.” This is a culture war, and we won’t win unless we are more ruthless than the opposition. Money talks. Dana White has a business to run and probably those attending UFC events don't give a flying frick about the tranny anymore. Bud Light, Miller Lite.....Michelob Ultra.....all shite but there is a lot of it and it has high profit margins because it is so cheaply made......so everybody serving it, loves it.

I have a very different take on this. AB was a conservative company that was careless and let a contract marketing firm do the Dylan Tranny thing. The powers at AB were horrified by the whole thing, but we chose to make a stand on that particular issue and that particular product.
Unlike Gillette, whose CEO has said he is glad they became woke and that the lost business was worth it, AB has studiously avoided the fringe woke. They have suffered and repented. They can’t pay enough cowboys and ball players, lol.
The boycott was good and it worked, but the mission isn’t to drive Bud Lite out of existence; the mission is to use these boycotts to affect the behavior of most firms and get them out of the woke advertising business.
What would you do if your two kids were being bad, you disciplined them, then one straightened up and the other was still bad? Well, AB has straightened up. Gillette is still bad. Focus your ire on Gillette, J P Morgan Chase, and others that are pushing the woke envelope. I don’t drink beer, much less diet beer, but if I did I’d start drinking BL again.

They lost billions, seemingly got rid of the major players and have reverted to relevant advertising.. so the boycott worked…. Do I wish them more pain from this .. yes but this was a victory for the consumer and even with the reverted branding, they have lost a large market share that isn’t coming back. AB and certain outlets will spin the new promos but none of that changes what they lost..

People who depend on the likes of Kid Rock or Dana White to make their beverage decisions are brain dead anyway, so who cares what they drink?
