Currently in animal models (you can appropriately critique away...)
Very promising technology. Will be following this closely
Poli Board material as I have posted about this sort of stuff in the past (relating to regenerative medicine impacting lifespan, societal structure, and politics).

'Breakthrough' penny-sized nanochip pad is able to regrow organs and heal injuries
quote:
The new device uses nanochips to reprogramme skin cells which then generate any type of cell necessary for medical treatment.
The non-invasive procedure takes less than a second and in laboratory trials was found to restore the function of badly damaged blood vessels within days.
quote:
Dubbed tissue nanotransfection (TNT), the technique works by placing a small pad of nanochips over a damaged area.
A small electric current then fires DNA into the skin cells, converting them into the specific building block cells of any other part of the body, such as arteries, or even organs like the heart.
It promises to transform the chances of patients in need of complex reconstructive surgery, as well as those whose organs are prematurely ageing.
The US researchers who created the technology say it could even be used as a weapon against neurological diseases like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.
They believe it will be possible to reprogramme skin cells to harvest brain cells in a peripheral part of the body, such as the arm, which can then be injected into the brain.
quote:
Researchers plan to start clinical trials on humans next year.
“With this technology, we can convert skin cells into elements of any organ with just one touch,” said Dr. Chandan Sen, who led the study.
“This process only takes less than a second and is non-invasive, and then you're off.
“The chip does not stay with you, and the reprogramming of the cell starts.
Unlike stem cell therapies, TNT would require no laboratory-based procedures ahead of use, meaning it could be implemented in everyday healthcare setting, such as a GP surgery.
Because the new reprogrammed cells are produced under the guidance of the patient’s own immune system, there is no need for the immunosuppressant drugs that can be necessary when biological matter is transplanted.

New device can heal with a single touch, and even repair brain injuries
quote:
A new device developed at The Ohio State University can start healing organs in a "fraction of a second," researchers say.
The technology, known as Tissue Nanotransfection (TNT), has the potential to save the lives of car crash victims and even deployed soldiers injured on site. It's a dime-sized silicone chip that "injects genetic code into skin cells, turning those skin cells into other types of cells required for treating diseased conditions," according to a release.
quote:
This is a breakthrough technology, because it's the first time cells have been reprogrammed in a live body. Current cell therapy methods are high risk, like those that introduce a virus, and include multiple steps, a new study published in Nature Nanotechnology points out. There are no known side effects to TNT and treatment is less than a second, Sen said.

What does this have to do with pedogate?

Kurzweil and the rest are overestimating the singularity...immortality is within a decade.

I believe this is partial disclosure as this technology is actually used for more robust uses like age regression.
This is likely a positive step.

I echo that sentiment...
I keep telling my friends and family to stay alive for the next 10 to 15 years (do not off yourself in a vehicle doing stupid shite )

Some how, some way, this will lead to zombies. It always leads to zombies.

it's literally going to be...I was born before PCs and cellphones and then I became immortal and went to explore the galaxy as an adult.

Not until they can find a way to keep telomeres intact, at least that's the current theory.

Not today, globalist
And think of the underprivileged children this will save! They won't have to worry about getting kidnapped and having their organs harvested so old globalists can live a few months longer
