No it doesn't. What they said indicates they found no evidence what they published is wrong but they did not take the time to vet and corroborate the story before publishing.

There is nothing in the statement to indicate that something they reported is wrong.

Also, this is very much related to Fox attempting to lean left. This is all a political stunt not real news.

Fox missed on this but at least they nailed Great Britain for assisting Obama in wire tapping Trump.

Nothing but professionals over there at Fox.

Corporate owned FOX News and CNN put out statements today saying it's fake news so they must be correct

Not like they would ever stoop so low to lie or spin like that. Everything they say is 100% truth, don't deny them !!!

I mean they don't have the credibility of Kim Dotcom or 4chan posts. That's for sure.

If you just started following the news this year, then welcome, but anonymous sources from within administrations are nothing new. None of WaPo or NYT's recent scoops on Trump have been disproven. Several of them haven't even been denied by the administration, like the one about Trump telling Russian diplomats that firing Comey had taken the pressure off the Russia investigation.

They are prominent people. You can "connect" a lot of things to them.

This guy was a low level operative at the DNC and nuts "connected" it to the Clintons

Must give Trumpettes great comfort that Fox is the only major media outlet defending Trump on Russia, even if its been half-hearted lately.

When have those guys ever been wrong about anything?

Yeah. There is literally no connection of Seth Rich to the Clintons other than he worked for the DNC.

It is remarkable that this board spends all day every day complaining about WaPo's anonymous sources. Then this story comes along and received minimal scrutiny.

Fox sucks as do them all.

I noticed you retracted your 'their' and fixed it.

To me it says they have NOT vetted the source or corroborated the claim. How do you not understand this? How many more times do I need to say this?

Again, if there was something wrong they would have clearly stated that. that is what a retraction typically is. All they have said so far is they jumped the gun, not that they were necessarily wrong.

Maybe you should be asking why they are not saying they got it wrong? What would happen if they claimed the story was wrong? What if stating they were wrong could be proven as a lie?
