The players are kneeling. The fans are leaving. They get paid obscene amounts of money to play a really fun game.
These players will single-handedly put themselves out of a job.
When a person or person(s) blatantly disrespect something that other people greatly respect, your protest becomes ineffective. People don't care what your protest is about because they are too angered by your actions of disrespect
If the players want to protest something, they need ti do it in a different way.

Meh. I don't necessarily agree with a boycott of the NFL, but I can promise you this is NOT what the NFL wants to have happen. The league is already taking hits over the safety and health of its players from the left and now they're going to be hammered over the kneeling from the right.

No business wants to deal with this.

False. Most of their money comes from cable subscribers. Most of that money is from people who actually never watch sports at all.

Truth is they're facing a lot of issues (cord cutters being #1), this issue is just sexy and fun to talk about. Not actually something that moves the needle that much.
Wrong, again. The cable subscribers watch the broadcasters' channels, you dork. Cable is simply a medium that the broadcasters layer on top of. The same stuff is free and in the air if you use an antenna.

If I ever see Steelers kneeling I am out. The Rodney's don't put up with that crap.

What if they don't even come out of the locker room?

I think the Saints have been boycotting for a few years now because they keep refusing to show up each year.

I've been doing it for almost two years. I didn't even the last two super bowls.

I watched maybe six games last year. None so far this year.

Watching NFL games is a bad habit that CAN and SHOULD be broken. Man, if I lived in the south, I'd be fishing, not worrying about Saints games.

I have gone on record multiple times on this board since the game yesterday. I am done with them as a team. Forty years of being a fan. Over.

The UAW doesn't strike against every auto manufacturer at the same time. They choose one.

If people want to have an effective boycott, have a mass movement that targets one big name sponsor. Just one, and go big. National advertising. Mass social media campaign. Every other CEO of every other sponsor will shite his pants. And Goodell and the owners will hear like and clear.
