The only bombshells were Lynch investigation in the forefront, Obama ignored Muh Russians warnings, Democrats ignored their hacking and failed to turn laptops over to the FBI-IF THEY WERE SO CONCERNED.

I think that Comey's friend, Benjamin Wittes, is a complete nutjob. Go read his twitter feed he sounds like a HRC dem supporter or a neverTrumper.
I think the story that Ben was referring to (as in this threads OP) was the one that CNN retracted. The MSM all got excited over some money trail.. Trump KGB... muh Russians garbage.

There is rumor of a recording from a meeting between Comey, Podesta, Lynch, and possibly Wasserman-Schultz where they discussed how to handle the FBI investigation before the election. Real collusion, but no Russians.

People are so dumb. I knew what Trump was doing the minute I read his tweet. He was trying to shed light on all the bullshite ummasking, spying, and 4th amendment violations done by Obama against his campaign. So when he said "you better hope there's no tapes" he was saying essentially "welcome to my world."
Trump's other point is that while he did not personally record Comey, you can bet your candy arse NSA was listening in (at least on the phone calls) just as they do almost all phone calls around the world.

No, based on his past behavior, this was an empty threat. In 2007 he admitted under oath to falsely threatening to record someone who was scrutinizing his behavior (in this case a journalist). From his unsuccessful lawsuit against Timothy O'Brien:

It is not "a disgrace to his presidency". It got comey to say what hr wouldn't publicly. Trump is dealing with lowlife swamp scum. All measures against them are acceptible.

My guess: I think it's going to be related to Coates' and Rogers' testimony.
