No, but I understand what Trump is doing. By using the inflated number the story becomes about the exact cost and if that number is justified and whether Trump can get a better deal. He's very, very effective at controlling the media narrative.
I don't care about what the media is covering. I do care that the Presidential elect is more interested in controlling the media than being factual.

Instead of paying them $170 MILLION to "determine the capabilities", why dont we request a quote with a punchlist of required capabilities and requirements?
This is like my deciding to remodel my master bathroom. First step... pay my contractor $40,000 to determine what the function of the bathroom will be. Then probably another $40,000 to determine the number and position of my toilet. Its insane. It is why a fricking hammer costs $170 and we paid $1650 for a toilet seat.

The GAO report is from 2015, already over a year old. Project is already over budget in its first year. And another 5 and I wouldn't be surprised if it doubles

Link supporting the claim that it's already over budget? And the planes weren't to be delivered until 2024. They weren't built for Hillary.
