I wish someone on this board would provide an actual definition of this term as used today.

U2 was always such bullshite. When they started, the only person who knew how to play his instrument was the drummer. I guess kudos for duping millions of people, but don't expect praise from actual musicians who went through the pain and tedium of actually learning how to play music.

It means someone so weak and clueless with their political insight that they are like a guy whose kid is someone else's without him knowing it

You don't have to like their politics. I don't particularly care much for them myself.

You don't have to like their music. I understand it isn't for everybody.

But if you can't at least acknowledge The Edge's skill as a guitarist...well, I don't know what to tell you.
