... When Abbott least expects it. I'm thinking Janet Reno/Elian Gonzales style: Raid with Fed agents on a sleepy Sunday morning. Maybe bring Milley too to tell the CO to stand down or lose his rank & retirement.

They'll swoop in, cut razor wire and set up a base.

Once the initial excitement wears off and the TX National Guard sends a platoon home out of Sheer boredom & budget cuts, that is when they will strike.

And by 'Biden', you mean his handlers.

TNG ain’t the Branch Davidians. Regime might get their goose stepping asses handed to them if they try this.

That’s a really solid way to start a hot conflict.

According to the SC ruling TX can still put up the razor wire fence. It only has to be removed if it's obstructing border patrol and border patrol has the authority to cut it. TX can put it right back up after.

Nah. Threaten some career officer with a dishonorable discharge - practically flushing his life down the toilet, and I think they stand down.

Besides, the military follows orders. If the Commander in Chief gives an order, you damn better follow.

I really hope not bc that’s a really fast way for things to go sideways. They can’t afford that kind of event in an election year.

Great optics for an upcoming election. Seize control of the states guard, seize land controlled by the state and then let a million dirty frickers in.

They can't be that stupid but at this point, sure why not.

I’m reminded of a quote from the TV show Action, roughly paraphrased.

“When someone tells us (Jews) to get on the train, it never ends well.”

Like Milley saying he’d undermine Trump by warning China if Trump ordered an attack? Is that they kind of “you damn better follow” you speak of?

The key to what is said is "and retirement". I am more convinced every day that federal and state retirement is so lucrative that it will make the vast majority of public employees (even those that are patriotic) go along with tyranny b/c they cannot risk taxpayer backed defined pensions for life.

Border patrol and Texas national guard are local members of the same family. They will help each other minimize the work to be done and laugh at the feds for generating their great overtime checks. If the FBI Patriot Front shows up in their kaki pants to take control, I would fully expect the locals to sit and say Ques Paso Dude, Uno Mas, frio cervasa, por favor, cook your own enchiladas
