Running up the score in California doesn't count for shite towards a "victory". It isn't even a moral victory at all.
Republicans and Never Trumpers made this point to Trump supporters saying that running up the score in Southern states and the midwest doesn't count for shite and look at them on the other foot now propping up the popular vote to devalue Trump.
