He only thing making it better are the melting of the snowflakes on TD. Some of which may have even already left the country because they're nowhere to be found on the poli board... lol

Krauthammer had so much invested in a Trump take down. It all started on the night after the first GOP Primary debate on Fox News when Krauthammer made the bold prediction that Trump would collapse in the polls and would soon have to drop out of the race.

I have never heard a political pundit sound so well reasoned but be so wrong.

Man, they really gave us some shite for supporting Trump early on.

NT and Robbie were SURE Crooked would win. NavyTiger spoke-out on how he could not wait to troll the ever loving crap out of us when Crooked won. OR when Trump lost the primary. They guarandamnteed Jeb!

All of the times the CTH (and Trump supporters, you and I and others) were called batshit insane.

Here is the election night thread.

I didn't participate that much in the election night in-game thread because I had friends and relatives texting me and my wife asking me questions all night.

I was reading the election night thread and realized that Cpt Bengal has not been around.

I just now saw this. LINK I was going to quit this board as well. I probably will soon; so the progs and fake moderate chumps can bitch about President Trump for 8 years; while America prospers.

I miss Cpt.

Can Trump overcome Hillary's 2 to 1 lead? (literally 4 to 1); can Romney make a surprise push (currently has 12.5% of counted ballots).

kudos to Buckeye (Leonard) in the Cpt Bengal thread for being worried about him. Does anyone know Cpt Bengal IRL, is he okay?

I was a nervous wreck at the start when the returns really started pouring in, but settled down as the race got tighter and tighter and then Trump started to run away with it. I stayed up late even though I knew he had it in the bag just because I wanted to hear them say it. I hadn't whooped and hollared that much since game 7 of the 1992 NLCS.

Wife and I were high fiving it at around 3am. She went to bed at 5:30am and I never did go to bed until about 10:00. The addiction was overbearing.

same.

wife got up a couple of times and just shook her head at me. she's a trump fan but definitely didn't get how much i enjoyed tMelt that night.

best part was cher doing the simpsons move:

closely followed by leaking that Katy Perry was backstage all set to do a 'surprise' acapella national anthem which didn't happen.

About one year before the election, I posted that I could not hardly wait for 2 things.

1. Election night when the media would posit that she was in a huge lead early and how they would begin to react when the train came barreling through. They delivered my wildest fantasy!

2. The 2nd was the first SOTU address delivered by Trump.

I should have added in his inauguration. I didn't even think of that at the time.

Woofie won the award for most bumfuzzled reporting.
I was in Abu Dhabi the "night" this all went down (was morning for me over there) and CNN was the only American news I had in my hotel. I was texting with friends/family plus reading this board while watching him on tv. It was absolutely hilarious how he kept coming up with these "what if" scenarios and then John King finally told him at one point "that won't happen"

The best part of all of this were the poli board posters that weren't alive when Reagan happened, or some were too young or not born to know about CNN calling the election for Gore.

The youngins know only Obama's election map and called me nuts in this forum when I predicted a Trump landslide. They are still stunned I imagine. Or threy are getting special comfort dogs, time off of college and life to melt and cry like the complete vagina wussies they are.
