Bernie Goldberg Insight?

Former CBS commentator gone rogue, Bernie G was just interviewed on FOX about the WH versus MSM war. He was surprisingly reticent and seemed quite willing to embrace the Left's narrative. For instance, he who rejected all things CBS, now appears to want to tout a CBS poll as a reliable indicator that Teump's WH might want to back off a little bit.
That tells me a couple things.
1. BG may not be as broken off from CBS and its ideologies as he has appeared.
2. If so, his adjusted slightly pro-MSM reliability perspective could be an indicator of an insider MSM realization that Trump is winning the hearts and minds of the American people, to which BG may be privy. And thus he is trying to slip in a little damage control.
And for instance, he did not cite any polls showing how deservedly little cred the MSM has with Americans.

Goldberg has been a hard Never-Trumper from the beginning, similar to Krauthammer. His GOPe ties are too solid.
